Wooden picture blocks are certified products with more than a 50-year tradition for the development of skills and imagination of children from the age of two or three. Older children often use the blocks as a basic “construction material” for the building of castles and other structures.

It is a high-quality toy that is fun and will keep kids busy for more than just a short while.

Our production comprises primarily of a whole range of popular, time-tested picture bloks with traditional motives for children (fairly tales, animals, didactic etc.). Meeting the demands of the third millennium, we’ve been gradually introducing new motives that successfully complement, and in some cases also replace, the older ones. We are also ready to produce new picture blocks from wood according to your wishes and specifications - custom-made blocks.
Our blocks are assigned not only for the domestic market but have been successfully exported into countries such as Germany, the Netherlands, the U.S. and Japan.

About Us

Our company “Petr Žalský – TOPA” was founded in 1997 after it took over the production of wooden picture blocks from the TOFA company based in Semily. The manufacturing facility consists of a hall with a line for the production of wooden picture blocks from their sawing until their packaging, an outside storage area used for a natural drying of wood, four wood driers and two storehouses.

Guarantee and Standarts

All our picture cubes meet strict safety and hygienic standards, were tested in the State Testing Laboratory and comply with EN 71. Packages used for our products are fully recyclable (we have been involved in the European system of package recycling). Our blocks are made of high quality dried spruce wood from north-eastern Bohemia, pictures and adhesives are bought from renowned manufactures.
